Consider these other resources in understanding and navigating your legal issue, including finding representation.

Lawyer Referral Services

We encourage all those seeking attorney representation to explore other resources aside from LAJ.¬† That’s because there’s no guarantee one of our panel attorneys is willing and able to take any particular case on and seeking an attorney is generally a time sensitive process.¬† Additionally, the LAJ referral is not available for those who need legal help but who’s income is over 400% of the federal poverty guidelines.

To maintain our nonprofit status, we can’t refer individual who are over the financial guidelines to our panel of LAJ lawyers. However, we can point you in the direction of two great referral services, each of which can help you find a great lawyer:

Massachusetts Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service
(617) 654-0400 or (866) 627-7577

Boston Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service
(617) 742-0625
