Family Law Advisors
Lawyers for Affordable Justice is fortunate to have two seasoned mentor managers to facilitate training and professional development for the LAJ attorneys.
Gabriel Cheong is the owner of Infinity Law Group LLC in Quincy, MA. He holds a JD from Northeastern University School of Law, a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Mathematics from Binghamton University. Gabriel started his own law firm straight out of law school. His law firm grew steadily for the first year until he had the opportunity to purchase the law firm where he once interned in law school. In 2008, Gabriel purchased Infinity Law Group and is now running his law firm while blogging, marketing and giving seminars on marketing and law practice management on a regular basis. His law practice is primarily focused on divorce and family law litigation and mediation.
Gabriel currently serves as a council member of the Law Practice Management section of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is also the President of Starting Out Solo, Inc., a group devoted to helping attorneys who start a private practice after law school succeed. He also serves as the Immediate Past President of Quincy Asian Resources, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to helping the Asian community through information services, outreach, language classes, legal clinics, volunteering and youth programs. In his spare time, Gabriel enjoys the company of his house rabbit and corgi.
Damian Turco is the founder and owner of Turco Legal, P.C., practicing in the areas of divorce, family law and plaintiff’s personal injury, with offices in Boston and Newburyport.
Attorney Turco is very active in our legal community. At the MBA, he is Chair of the Law Practice Management Section Council, is on the Membership Committee, the Oliver Wendell Holmes Scholarship Committee, the MBA Annual Dinner Committee, and he’s performed outreach on behalf of the MBA at all 9 Massachusetts law schools and participates on committees outside the MBA. In just the past few years, Attorney Turco has developed and participated on dozens of continuing legal education programs at the MBA and elsewhere.
He’s also on the Board and serves as Treasurer of the Greater Newburyport Bar Association, is a member of the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA), the American Association for Justice (AAJ), and serves on the Board of Directors of the Legal Advocacy and Resource Center (LARC), a legal nonprofit here in Boston, and regularly volunteers his time at shelters across the state, offering legal advice to those in need.
